The Expression of PD-L1 in Malignant Pleural Fluid Cytological Specimens of Lung Adenocarcinoma and the Relationship between Clinical and Molecular Characteristics
Objective:To evaluate the relationship between PD-L1 expression and clinicopathological in lung adenocarcinoma.Methods:54 cases of malignant pleural effusion and 73 cases of lung adenocarcinoma were detected by immunohistochemical. Results:The positive rate of PD-L1 in malignant pleural fluid was 68.5%in cytological specimens and 53.4%in histological specimen(P>0.05).Among them,31patients had malignant pleural fluid cytological and histological specimens. The positive proportion of PD-L1 expression in malignant pleural fluid was 26%in TPS from 1%to 49%,and 39%in TPS≥50%.The expression of PD-L1 was moderately consistent between then(Kappa=0.49,P<0.05).PD-L1 expression was correlated with lymph node metastasis status(P<0.05)only.Conclusion:PD-L1 can be detected reliably in malignant pleural fluid cytological specimens of lung adenocarcinoma.
