Grammaticalization is a common phenomenon in the process of language development.In this pa-per,we take the Russian verb"идти"as an example,and analyse the semantic evolution and grammatica-lization process of the verb based on the interpretation of"идти"in the Great Russian-Chinese Dictionary,combining with the transition theory of Бабайцева,and focusing on the grammaticalization path and its pragmatic effects.The study reveals the general laws of semantic evolution,grammaticalization and prag-matic effects of Russian verbs,provides research ideas and paradigms for the study of grammaticalization of Russian vocabulary,and provides reference for Russian language teaching,translation and lexicography.
