The contemporary value,connotation and response path of the construction of modern Chinese civilization
"Building the modern civilization of the Chinese nation"is an organic composition of Xi Jinping's Cultural Thought,and is an important strategic deployment made by Xi Jinping based on the"two overall situations".This is not only the inherent demand of carrying forward and developing the Chinese civiliza-tion,but also an important measure to turn China into a country with a strong socialism culture.It is also a necessary requirement to deal with momentous changes of a scale unseen in a country and a strategic sup-port for advancing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.The modern civilization of the Chinese na-tion is not only a modern socialist civilization under the leadership of the Communist Party of China,but also a modern civilization of the traditional Chinese civilization,a modern civilization of material and cul-tural-ethical advancement and a modern civilization generated through a Chinese path to modernization.To build a modern civilization of the Chinese nation,we should focus on the following aspects:upholding the overall leadership of the Communist Party of China,putting effort into protecting cultural artifacts and heritage,strengthening cultural confidence and adhering to openness,inclusiveness and innovation with a commitment to fundamental principles.Then building consensus,coordinated efforts,overall consideration and multiple measures at the same time can effectively shoulder the new cultural mission of the new era.
