Examining cultural exchange and integration in the early bronze age Liaoxi region through the Lower Xiajiadian culture
As the first archaeological culture in the western Liao River region to enter the Bronze Age,the Lower Xiajiadian Culture's discovery and excavation provide important materials for understanding the di-versity of Chinese civilization and exploring the formation and development of a unified yet diverse Chinese civilization.This paper analyzes various aspects of the Lower Xiajiadian Culture,such as its geographical location,site characteristics,and unearthed artifacts to examine its interactions and integration with sur-rounding cultures.Through this analysis,the study delves into the cultural exchanges and ethnic amalga-mation reflected by the Lower Xiajiadian Culture during the early Bronze Age in the western Liao region and its adjacent areas.
