Integration in cultural relics:archaeological research on the interaction between porcelain in the Southern Song and Jin Dynasties
After the Shaoxing Peace Treaty,the Song and Jin dynasties entered a period of more than 90 years of confrontation.Despite the political and military tensions between the two sides,there has not been a complete interruption in trade and cultural exchanges.In fact,communication and exchange between the two countries in terms of material and cultural aspects continue and show a positive trend of integration.The gold porcelain unearthed within the Southern Song Dynasty and the Southern Song porcelain unearthed within the Jin Dynasty both reflect the unique expression of cultural integration between the two sides,presenting a close relationship of"you have me,I have you".This article selects porcelain unearthed from typical kiln sites in both countries as the research object,and uses archaeological typology research methods to conduct in-depth analysis of these porcelain.We attempt to reveal the interactive relationship between the porcelain of the two countries,and based on this,explore the deep connection between porce-lain interaction and ethnic integration.We hope to provide new ideas and methods for the study of cultural identity between the Northern and Southern ethnic groups during the Song and Jin dynasties through this archaeological perspective.
