Questionnaires are commonly used by English teachers in primary and secondary schools to collect information in teaching research,and the reliability of the results depends on the quality of the questionnaires,so it is necessary to use statistical means to evaluate the quality.Relying on the pilot study data of"Reading Character Questionnaire for Secondary School Students",this study introduces the process of analyzing the quality of a questionnaire by SPSS 23.0,in order to help foreign language teachers to utilize questionnaire method more scientifically.
