This paper,based on the kernel principle of embodied-cognitive linguistics,"Reality-Cognition-Language",explores the embodied-cognitive mechanism of the formation of linguistic force,and takes con-flict talk as an example to deeply analyze the process of linguistic force interaction.The study finds that the formation and perception of linguistic force are the result of humans'"embodied cognition"of the world.The embodied-cognitive causes of discourse conflict can be explained from aspects such as the direction,rhythmic characteristics,output patterns,transmission processes,and target of linguistic force in conflict talk.This research not only provides a new perspective for the study of conflict talk but also expands the research horizons of embodied-cognitive linguistics to the level of dialogic interaction.
