Dilemmas and Countermeasures of Digital Inclusion of Elderly People from a Community Perspective:A Qualitative Study on Community-based Elderly People in Y City,Ningxia
With the trend of digitalization and population aging,elderly people has become a special presence in the digital development of the community,and the special characteristics of elderly people make them face the dilemma of digital inclusion.Community is an important field of people's living and activities within a certain range.Therefore,understanding the digital inclusion of elderly people from a community perspective is of great significance.Through purposive sampling,in-depth interviews were conducted with the staff and elderly people in four communities in J District and X District of Y City,Ningxia,to gain a deeper understanding of the digital inclusion of elderly people in the communities.The community foundation and consequences of digital inclusion of elderly people were summarized,as well as the digital cognition and application of elderly people from a community perspective.Research has found that elderly people in the digital development of communities are still facing dilemmas of digital adaptation,identity and daily life.Through strategic thinking such as technological innovation,aligning policies and integrating resources,it is expected to enhance the digital inclusion of elderly people from a community perspective.
