Objective:To optimize the extraction of seven white detoxification gelsby orthogonal experiment design method.Method:The effective parts of seven white detoxification gels was extracted by water decocting method and ethanol reflux extraction.The effects of three independent variables,extraction times,ratio of material to solvent and extracting time were investigated with extracting rate by water decocting method.And alcohol concentration,extraction times and extracting time were investigated with the content of paeoniflorin by ethanol reflux extraction,then determine the best extraction process by the analysis of variance.Results:The optimized values of extraction times,ratio of material to solvent and extracting time were 3,8 and 1 h by water decocting method,respectively.The optimized values of alcohol concentration,extraction times and extracting timewere by ethanol reflux extraction 50%,3 and 1.5h,respectively.Conclusions:Orthogonal experiment design method is successfully used to optimize the extraction of seven white detoxification gels.
