The history of the Communist Party of China,the history of new China,the history of reform and opening up and the history of socialist development are the glorious historical models that our party has always adhered to the guidance of Marxism in the centennial journey,explored in practice,and advanced in exploration.It carries the historical logic of Marxism in China and the times,and contains rich ideological and political education resources.In order to carry out ideological and political teaching in colleges and u-niversities,we must deeply explore the ideological and political education materials accumulated in the"four histories",accurately grasp the coupling relationship between the"four histories"education and the ideological and political teaching in colleges and univer-sities,enlighten people with history,and accelerate the organic integration of the two by implementing the principle of"three complete education",innovating teaching forms,strengthening the construction of teachers,so as to clarify the mission of young students,culti-vate young students'feelings of home and country and their spirit of struggle,and strengthen young students'ideals and beliefs.
