With the current rapid social and economic development and fierce social competition,science and engineering post-graduates are facing multiple pressures such as scientific research,employment and interpersonal relationships,and mental health prob-lems are becoming more and more prominent.We analyze the factors affecting the mental health of science and engineering postgradu-ates,discuss the real-life dilemmas in the mental health education of science and engineering postgraduates,and propose that postgrad-uates should improve their comprehensive ability and universities should establish a scientific crisis early warning and intervention sys-tem,allocate sufficient professional teachers,optimize the design of the curriculum,give full play to the key role of postgraduate super-visors,take multiple measures to improve the students'employability,and establish a home-school connection.We hope that the coun-termeasures to improve the mental health education system of postgraduates can provide reference for the development of mental health for science and engineering postgraduates.
