Ideological and political education in universities bears the important mission of cultivating morality of people,and it is also a key course to help college students shape their values of loving the Party,serving the country and the people,and contributing to society.In order to accelerate the reform of ideological and political education in universities and improve its effectiveness,it is neces-sary to continuously innovate teaching methods,actively study the value,selection standards,and principles of case teaching,using facts for reasoning,and educating students in a sensible way.In order to enhance the pertinence,timeliness,and infectivity of the courses,the selection of teaching cases should strengthen cultural confidence,adhere to the implementation of the educational goal of cultivating morality and talents,and fully demonstrate the distinct characteristics of socialist universities with Chinese characteristics under the guidance of Marxism.
