The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly pointed out the acceleration of the con-struction of the Western Land Sea New Corridor,which shows that the Western Land Sea New Corridor has important strategic signifi-cance in building a new development pattern and high-quality construction process.Guiyang Vocational and Technical College seizes opportunities,fully leverages its historical advantages in cultivating railway technical skilled talents,adheres to high standard require-ments,cultivates international railway technical skilled talents,accelerates the high-level development of vocational education in Guizhou region.A study was conducted on students from the Rail Transit Branch of Guiyang Vocational and Technical College.A sur-vey questionnaire was distributed to investigate the current level of internationalization in the training of railway technical skills talents and students'understanding of international railway technical skills talents,analyze the causes,and combine with the current demand for Guizhou railway technical skills talents in the construction of the Western Land Sea New Corridor and the requirements for high-quality development of vocational education.Suggestions were put forward for the training of international railway technical skills talents to give full play to the leadership of Party building and grasp the direction of talent training,promote the coordination of government,school,enterprise,and industry and improve the efficiency of talent training,strengthen institutional governance and enhance the qual-ity of talent training.
