Objective-This research aims to investigate the influence of Victor Papanek's design principles on sustainable design across different stages.Methodology-The literature review will primarily focus on two key works,namely"Design for the Real World"and"Green Imperative,"to compile and organize Victor Papanek's core viewpoints.By combining sustainable development with sustainable design,this study will analyze the impact on sustainable design across four distinct periods,elucidating the relationship between micro and macro levels.Conclusion-Concrete influencing factors will be derived from this study.Results-Through the lens of Papanek's design theory,this research seeks to explore the objectives and significance of sustainable design,fostering critical reflection on sustainable development and the modern design environment.Ultimately,it aims to assist contemporary sustainable design in pursuing a path of sustainable development more effectively.
