The prosperity of commodity economy inevitably brings competition between commodities,so businesses need to evaluate the situation and examine the preferences of the public to produce.The most direct way for consumers to understand the product is to see its packaging,so the packaging design is particularly important.This paper studies the visual expression of flat style illustration in packaging design,discusses it in combination with packaging related content,and hopes to apply flat style illustration to actual product design.By analyzing the characteristics of flat style illustration and its value in packaging design,it comes to the conclusion that flat style illustration plays an important role in packaging design.
