A Study on the Packaging Design and Causes of Cosmetic and Skincare Products During the"Seventeen Years"Period
The"Seventeen Years"is a relatively special historical period after the establishment of the People's Republic of China.In the context of the transformation of the old and new societies,the country's politics,economy,culture,and ideology are being explored for reconstruction.Packaging,as a barometer of the national economy and people's livelihood,has special expressive connotations under the influence of the special era.At the same time,the evolution of packaging design reflects the difficult process of founding a country and cultural reshaping.This article takes the packaging of cosmetics and skincare products during the"Seventeen Years"period as an example,exploring the early development of packaging design in China in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China from the perspectives of category shift,material updates,and visual changes.It also analyzes how packaging can shape specific social functions and emotional effects of a specific period through diverse visual expressions under the economic conditions of a single material form,providing a reference paradigm for the shaping of modern packaging form and value transmission.
