Research on the Design of Campus Cultural and Creative Products from the Perspective of Semiotics—City University of Macau as an Example
Based on the theory of semiotics and taking the City University of Macau as an example,this paper aims to design innovative and unique university cultural and creative products.This paper first analyzes the background of Macao's cultural industry,analyzes and expounds the theory of semiotics and campus cultural and creative products,deeply studies the current situation and shortcomings of cultural and creative institutions in universities,and puts forward suggestions.The impression degree of campus cultural elements and user preferences were investigated in the form of interviews and questionnaires,the campus cultural elements were extracted and sorted out with the help of semiotics theory,and the design practice of cultural and creative products of City University of Macau was carried out to describe the campus image with typical characteristics,so as to create the design of campus IP and cultural and creative derivatives,and enhance the university's cultural identity and influence.
