Study on Pharmaceutical Packaging Needs of Elderly Patients from the Perspective of Drug Safety
This paper conducted a survey on the status quo and influencing factors of long-term drug demand of elderly patients with chronic diseases(taking elderly patients with hypertension as an example)in Putian City,so as to provide a reasonable basis for the improvement design of drug packaging for elderly patients in the future.Objective sampling method was adopted for the investigation,and the subjects included elderly patients with long-term medication for hypertension,senior doctors,licensed pharmacists,and elderly nursing workers in community service centers(sample number A-L).The one-to-one unstructured interview method was used to focus on the drug information issues that elderly patients were concerned about and which could easily lead to drug safety.Based on Chinese laws and regulations,this paper put forward reasonable suggestions for adjusting the form and content of drug packaging.
