With the rapid development of digital technology,advertising design under the background of new media has become a social hot spot.The purpose of this study is to explore the teaching reform methods of advertising course under the background of new media era,so as to adapt to the new requirements of the environment for the training of advertising talents.The research method of case study is adopted to provide the basis for teaching reform.It is found that there are some problems in the current training of advertising talents,such as backward curriculum,weak training links and lack of teachers.The teaching reform of advertising course should pay more attention to the combination with new media technology,improve students'practical ability and comprehensive quality,and cultivate more advertising talents to meet the needs of The Times.
