Practical Research on the Pattern Design of Horseback Ridge Mountain Wall Based on Shape Grammar——Taking Fujian Tea Packaging as an Example
Wat Pho in Thailand is a heritage of world cultural memory, and its architectural decoration patterns have important research value, especially influenced by the characteristics of the horse's back in southern Fujian in China. This study focuses on the characteristic factors of the horse back gable pattern of Wat Pho Temple in Thailand, and carries out innovative transformation design.Through field investigation, the cases of horse back gable pattern in Wat Pho Temple were collected and the typical characteristics were analyzed.Disassemble the sample model and determine the basic elements with the most characteristic of southern Fujian by quantitative analysis.Based on the shape grammar theory, the selected elements were optimized and innovated, and applied to the design of Fujian tea packaging. The role of shape grammar in traditional pattern innovation is verified, and it provides a reference path for pattern creative design.
