Three Methods for Isolatiny and Identifying Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes
Objective To participating in the 2022 ACAS-PT1343 Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes detection capability validation program organized by the Chinese Academy of Inspection and Quarantine Sciences, three rapid isolation and identification methods for Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes were used to improve the efficiency of inspection and detection compared with national standard methods. Methods The national standard method,auto-matic enzyme-linked immunofluorescence analyzer and real-time PCR were used to detect Salmonella 22-A419,22-F730 and Listeria monocytogenes monocytogenes 22-D378,22-G483 in randomly artificially contaminated sam-ples.Results Salmonella was detected in 22-A419 and 22-F730,and the serum typing was O(9,12)H(m),indicating Salmonella enteritidis;Listeria monocytogenes monocytogenes was detected from 22-D378,but not from 22-G483.Conclusion The detection of Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes adopts the national standard method, supplemented by the automatic enzyme-linked immunofluorescence analyzer and real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR,which not only reduces the false positive rate, but also shortens the detection time. The latter two methods can be used as pre screening and emergency testing of Large number of samples.Positive samples in screening are con-firmed by national standard method, which improves the efficiency of testing.
