The Impact of Nitrogen Filling Controlled Atmosphere Grain Storage Technology on Grain Storage in Silos in South China
Vertical silos storage of grain has the advantages of large storage capacity,small footprint,high degree of mechanization,labor-saving,closed pest control,rodent and sparrow control,and good fire resistance.Howev-er,its disadvantages include deep grain loading,difficult operation of sample processing,diffiiculty in killing drug-resistant pests using conventional fumigation of aluminum phosphide,and incomplete insecticidal effects.To ad-dress the above situation,this article conducted a modification experiment on nitrogen filling,temperature control,controlled atmosphere,insecticidal and insect resistant grain storage in vertical silos located in high temperature and high humidity areas in south China.The experimental results indicate that the modified atmosphere insecticidal effect is good,and the quality of stored grain is stable after being unsealed.This method reduces the workload of storage personnel,but also achieves the goal of"green,safe,effective,and hygienic"storage.
