新文科视域下的"玄学与理学"关系教学探究

玄学与理学在现行大学历史教材中,呈现出割裂与对立的关系.在历史视域的观照下,玄学是儒家的玄学,貌似儒学的异化,实则是儒学的更新.它以儒道会通的方式,对儒学进行继承与革新,是儒学发展史不可或缺的一个环节.正因它"内儒外玄(道)"的儒学根柢,才与理学(新儒学)在内在理路上有密切联系.两者的内在理路在哲学视域的观照下,可见从"玄理"到"天理"和由"本末"至"体用"存在着继承与发展的关系.即在新文科的视域下,玄学与理学同属于儒学发展史上前后相连的两个环节,理学直接继承于玄学,并进一步发展了玄学.
A "New Humanities" Perspective on the Relationship between Xuanxue and Neo-Ruism
A relationship of severance and even opposition exists between Xuanxue and Neo-Ruism as por-trayed in currently-used university history textbooks.From an appropriately historical perspective,however,Xuanxue was in fact a part of Ruism itself,and despite it seeming to be some kind of Ruist heterodoxy,it was in fact a further development of Ruism itself.By integrating Ruist and Daoist ideas,it was both an inheritance of and revolution internal to Ruism,and was an integral part of the history of Ruism's development.It displayed itself outwardly as a form of Xuanxue but was nevertheless solidly internally grounded in Ruist tenets,and this was precisely how its intrinsic logic was connected to Neo-Ruism.From an appropriately philosophical perspective,the intrinsic logic connecting the two is cap-tured in the progression from"abstruse pattern-principle"to"heavenly pattern-principle"and"fun-damental ben and incidental mo"to"fundamental tiand functional yong".That is to say,from a"New Humanities"perspective,Xuanxue and Neo-Ruism are both sequentially connected parts of the history of Ruism's development-Neo-Ruism was a direct inheritance of and further development of Xuanx-ue.
