Research on the improvement of food security capacity under the implementation of the Food Security Law
The Food Security Law of the People's Republic of China is the first law in the history of food security in China,which provides strong support for the construction of the rule of law for food security.It is the responsi-bility and mission of food related departments to learn,understand,and apply the law,formulate detailed rules for the implementation of the Food Security Law,conscientiously implement key contents such as farmland protection,food production,reserves,circulation,processing,emergency response,conservation,supervision and management,and legal responsibility,and improve the ability to ensure food security.The paper points out that we should firmly guard the vital root of cultivated land,tamp down the foundation of food security,make great efforts to strength-en the food supply capacity by strengthening the area and output of food,and put forward practical measures in strengthening the food reserve,to strengthen the"Ballast"role of food security,to make efforts to strengthen Macro-economic regulation and control and invigorate food circulation,to build a unified national food market,to seek in-novation in food processing,to meet the People's aspirations for a better life;to make effective measures in supervi-sion and inspection,regulating the market and creating an environment conducive to food security;and to improve food security in an all-round way.
