Optimization of high performance liquid chromatography for detection of vomitoxin in maize
On the basis of GB 5009.111-2016"Determination of deoxynivalenol and its acetylated derivatives in foodstuffs",high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)was used, and by optimizing the pretreatment process of the samples, the aim was to establish an assay method that could rapidly, accurately, and in large quantities test the content of vomitoxin in corn. The results demonstrated that the linear relationship of vomitoxin was good in the concentration range of 100~5000 ng/mL,with the linear correlation coefficient(R2)greater than 0.99997.The limit of detection(LOD)of the method was 18.4 μg/mL,the limit of quantification(LOQ)was 61.3 μg/mL,the re-coveries of vomitoxin were in the range of 90.04%~108.42%,and the relative standard deviations(RSD)were in the range of 3.69%~6.70%,which complied with the requirements of the national standard for the determination of vomitoxin in corn.It met the requirements for the rapid determination of large-scale corn samples.
