Research progress on consumption preference and willingness to pay for food quality attributes
It is of great significance to deeply explore food quality attribute and their consumption preference and payment willingness to improve consumers purchase and assist producers decision-making,but the current research on food quality attribute and consumer preference and payment willingness is still insufficient.This paper summarizes and reviews the relevant literature from three parts:food quality attribute classification,food consumption preference and willingness to pay,choice experimental method and its application in food consumption preference and willingness to pay.The results points out that the study of food quality attribute preference has important practical value.In the next step,different food quality attributes can be refined from the level of consumers and policies,according to the market demand of different regions,the preference characteristics of different consumers can be deeply explored.
