Analysis of total factor productivity of grain in Anhui Province based on Malmquist index
Based on the panel data of cities in Anhui Province from 2005 to 2020,the Malmquist index was used to calculate the total factor productivity of grain.The study found that Anhui's grain production efficiency is slowly improving,with an average annual growth rate of 0.7%.Among them,technological progress is the core driving force of grain production,and Anhui has certain innovative achievements in grain production.When the change in-dex of technical efficiency is further decomposed into pure technological progress index and scale efficiency index,it is found that both pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency have decreased on the whole,and have a negative impact on technical efficiency,and the change of technical efficiency shows a downward trend and converges with the basic change of pure technical efficiency.Based on the results of the study,some suggestions were put forward,such as Anhui should continue the innovation and research and development of agricultural science and technology,reasonably expand the scale of production in Ma'anshan,Huaibei,Tongling and other cities,and pay attention to formulating differentiated grain production policies.
