The Strategic Outline for the Development of Digital Villages requires a significant reduction in the digi-tal divide between urban and rural areas and a significant improvement in farmers'digital literacy by 2035.In recent years,the No.1 Central Document has raised the issue of small farmers'development,steadily promoting the or-ganic connection between small farmers and modern agricultural development,and bringing small farmers into the track of modern agricultural development.Especially in the context of the construction of digital countryside,pay-ing attention to and improving the digital literacy of small farmers is also an inevitable requirement for rural revital-ization.The paper takes the construction of digital rural areas as the starting point,study the mechanism of digital literacy driving the development of digital rural areas for small farmers in Henan Province.In accordance with the requirements of the Overall Layout Plan for Digital China Construction,it promotes the deep integration of digital technology with rural economy,politics,culture,society,and ecological civilization construction.The focus is on the internal logic analysis of the role of small farmers'digital literacy driving in the five major fields of rural digital economy,digital culture,digital livelihood,digital governance,and digital ecology,and then proposes cultivation paths such as small farmers'main support path,institutional arrangement path,digital feedback path,and training system path to enhance small farmers'digital literacy.
