Comprehensive evaluation of rice quality in Liaoning Province based on principal component analysis and cluster analysis
Rice is one of the main grain crops in Liaoning Province.In this study,the basic nutrition and quality indexes of rice from different producing areas were determined by principal component analysis and cluster analy-sis in Liaoning Province,the quality of rice in Liaoning was comprehensively evaluated.The results showed that 4 principal components were obtained by principal component analysis of 29 rice varieties,and the cumulative contri-bution rate of variance was 76.475%.The three leading comprehensive scores were Yanfeng 47>Yanfeng 1>Yan-jing 927.Cluster analysis was carried out on 29 varieties of rice,the number of cases in cluster 1 was 9,the number of cases in cluster 2 was 3,and the number of cases in cluster 3 was 17.
