Analysis of Public Safety Perception and Behavior of Food Wrappers
Objective:To provide suggestions for raising public awareness of food wrapping paper safety.Method:A questionnaire survey was conducted among 467 local people.Result:The risk cognition of fluorescent whitening agent,paraffin wax and graphite in different age groups was low and there were significant differences among them(P<0.01).Among them,people between 18 and 30 years old had the highest rate of correct recognition.There were significant differences between people with different educational backgrounds on the potential methanol hazards in food wrapping paper and the behavior of checking the"QS"mark when buying food wrapping paper(P<0.01).People with higher education level generally had higher cognition of food wrapping paper.The publics'awareness of the source of paper hazards is shallow,and less consideration is given to whether the safety of food wrapping materials has potential hazards.56.1%of the public have a higher awareness of the safety of food wrapping paper purchase channels.There was no significant difference in the public's attention to the inspection report of food wrapping paper in different regions(P>0.05).Conclusion:The public's safety cognition and behavior status of food wrapping paper are poor,and they fail to realize the potential harm of food wrapping paper.It is still necessary to further strengthen the awareness of food wrapping paper safety knowledge,improve self-safety awareness,and make scientific purchase.
