Simultaneous Determination of Multiple Element Content in Rice Using ICP-MS/MS Technology
A method for simultaneous determination of 13 trace elements, including sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, manganese, copper, chromium, zinc, arsenic, selenium, cadmium, and lead,in rice was established by microwave digestion-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry in three modes,namely,M-SQ-N/A,M-SQ-KED,and M-SQ-O2.The results showed that in the M-SQ-KED mode, the background equivalent concentrations and detection limits of manganese, iron, copper, and zinc were at a relatively low level;in the M-SQ-O2 mode, chromium, arsenic, and selenium can all react with oxygen to generate oxide ions. After screening, interference is eliminated, and the background equivalent concentration and detection limit are significantly improved.Arsenic and selenium have better instrument response values and sensitivity. The spiked recovery rate of all elements ranges from 90.7%to 99.4%,with RSD≤1.85%.
