Detection and Analysis of Heavy Metal Content in Commercially Available Food in Zhengzhou in 2023
Objective:To detect and analyze of heavy metal content in commercially available food in Zhengzhou,in order to understand the situation of heavy metal pollution in food and provide a basis for food safety supervision.Method:In 2023,a total of 300 samples of various types of food were extracted in Zhengzhou in order to detect the content of five heavy metals,namely lead,cadmium,mercury,arsenic,and aluminum.Result:The detection rates of Pb,Cd,Hg,As,and Al in food were 56.39%(128/227),74.43%(131/176),5.76%(8/139),62.42%(93/149),and 76.29%(74/97),respectively.The qualification rates were 97.8%,98.3%,100.0%,98.0%,and 97.9%,respectively.The heavy metal exceeding standards mainly include Pb in dried aquatic products and vegetable dried products,Cd in root and tuber vegetables,As in rice,and Al in non fermented bean products.Conclusion:The overall quality and safety status of various types of food in Zhengzhou city is good,some dried products,vegetables,soy products and rice are contaminated with heavy metals,and more supervision is needed,avoid the flow of food contaminated by heavy metals to the market,strengthen food safety.
