Optimization of Extraction Process and Antioxidant Effect of Baxian Tea Polyphenols
In order to optimize the extraction process of polyphenols from Baxian tea and explore its antioxidant activity. This article uses ultrasonic assisted solvent extraction method, with the extraction amount of Baxian tea polyphenols as the evaluation index. The optimal extraction process parameters are screened through single factor experiments and orthogonal experiments. At the same time, the antioxidant activity of Baxian tea polyphenols is evaluated by measuring their scavenging rates on DPPH and ABTS free radicals. The results showed that the optimal extraction parameters of Baxian tea polyphenols were:material liquid ratio of 1∶25,ethanol volume fraction of 70%,extraction temperature of 50℃,extraction time of 60 min,and the resulting extraction amount was 19.92 mg·g-1.The antioxidant activity test showed that the scavenging results of Baxian tea polyphenols on DPPH and ABTS radicals were obvious, with IC50 values of 0.02 mg·mL-1 for DPPH radicals and roughly equivalent to Vc for ABTS radicals. The results confirmed that the method of Baxian tea polyphenol extraction was reliable and effective, and the extracted Baxian tea polyphenols had good antioxidant activity.
