Comparison and Optimization of Methods for Cellulose,Hemicellulose, and Lignin in Fruit Pomace
The purpose of this study is to compare the data difference between NREL method and Van soest method for detecting hemicellulose, cellulose and lignin in wood, and to optimize the NREL method. The hemicellulose, cellulose and lignin in 6 kinds of bagasse samples were detected by two methods, and the data differences between the two methods were analyzed. The results showed that there was no significant difference in lignin content between NREL method and Van soest method, but the content of hemicellulose and cellulose in bagasse residue was significantly higher than that of NREL method. It is concluded that the NREL method has high data accuracy and low cost, and Van soest method can be chosen when comparing large quantities of samples.
