Development of a Multiplex PCR Detection Method and Detection Kit for Five Animal Derived Components in Edible Meat
Objective:To establish a multiplex polymerase chain reaction detection method for synchronous detection of animal derived components from deer, cattle, sheep, pigs, and horses in meat and develop a rapid detection multiplex PCR kit.Method:Based on the Cyt b genes of cattle, sheep, pigs, and horses,as well as the mitochondrial COX 1 genes of sika deer and red deer,as target gene sequences for primer design, five specific primers were designed, and the PCR system was optimized to establish a multiplex PCR identification method for five animal derived components.Result:In the same reaction system,a specific band of deer meat(173 bp),beef(148 bp),pork(261 bp),lamb(100 bp),and horse meat(424 bp)can be simultaneously amplified. Conclusion:The multiplex PCR detection kit in this study can simultaneously detect five animal derived components in meat.
