Determination of Cadmium in Rice Using Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry
Objective:Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS)is a new technology and method used in the laboratory to determine the content of heavy metal cadmium in locally produced rice from Dianjiang County. Methods:Using nitric acid as the digestion solution, the rice sample was diluted to volume after microwave digestion, and basic interference and drift were corrected with 115In as the internal standard element. The standard series and samples were measured under the standard mode of inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer. Results:There was a good linear relationship between cadmium concentration and the response value when the mass concentration was 0.05~6 μg·L-1,and the correlation coefficient was 0.999 9.The recovery rate was between 80%and 93.1%.Conclusion:This method is fast, simple, with good linearity and high accuracy.
