Effect of Anti-oxidative Function of Bama Hemp Seed Oil
In order to study the anti-oxidative function of Bama hemp seed oil, adult rats are tested with Bama hemp seed oil according to the antioxidant function evaluation method of annex 1 of the Notice on the Issuance of 9 Health Function Evaluation Methods including Antioxidant Function Evaluation Methods(2012)107 of China Food and Drug Administration.Solvent control group, blank control group and sesame oil high-dose,medium-dose and low-dose groups are set up for continuous gavage for 30 days. The results show that the malondialdehyde(MDA)levels in liver homogenate and serum in the test group are significantly lower than those in the solvent control group(P<0.05),and the superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity in liver homogenate is significantly higher than that in the solvent control group(P<0.01).The contents of liver homogenate and serum reducing glutathione(GSH)in the test group are significantly higher than those in the solvent control group(P<0.01).These results showed that the lipid peroxidation products, antioxidant enzymes and antioxidant substances in animal experiments are positive under the experimental conditions, indicating that Bama hemp seed oil has antioxidant function.
