Evaluation of Uncertainty in Detection of Sulfur Dioxide in Guizhou Gastrodia elata by Ion Chromatography
Objective:To evaluate the measurement uncertainty in the determination of residual sulfur dioxide in Gastrodia elata using ion chromatography.Method:According to GB/T 5009.34-2022,ion chromatography was used to determine sulfur dioxide residue in Gastrodia elata. The uncertainty components in the determination process were analyzed, and the synthetic relative standard uncertainty and expanded uncertainty were calculated.Result:The residual sulfur dioxide content in Gastrodia elata from Guizhou is determined by ion chromatography, reported as(6.86±1.04)mg·kg-1.Conclusion:The measurement uncertainty of sulfur dioxide residue in Gastrodia elata mainly comes from the uncertainty introduced by the preparation of standard solution, the uncertainty introduced by standard curve fitting, and the uncertainty introduced by repeated determination. The experimenter should use calibrated glass gauge, strictly control the sample to be tested and the standard solution under the same conditions for determination, and take quality control measures for pre-treatment process, ensure accuracy and reliability of the test results.
