This paper combs the problems existing in the design from the aspects of food packaging effect,positioning and culture.The application value of intangible cultural heritage elements in food packaging design is summarized from the cultural and economic aspects.Combined with relevant food packaging cases,the application mode and design ideas of intangible cultural heritage elements into food packaging design were put forward,which provided reference ideas for improving the appearance effect and cultural connotation of modern food packaging.
