Effect of Dietary Intervention on Symptom Relief in Patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome
The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of specific dietary interventions on symptom relief in patients with irritable bowel syndrome(IBS).By analyzing the food diaries of 100 IBS patients,we found that a low-FODMAP diet,a high-fiber diet, and a dietary intervention strategy that excluded specific foods all significantly improved IBS symptoms. The findings support the importance of dietary interventions in the management of IBS and provide direction for future research.
