To study the changes in fruit quality of different peach varieties,six excellent peach varieties(nectarine,yellow peach,honey peach,flat peach,earth peach,and late-ripening crisp peach)from Akesu prefecture,Xinjiang were selected for comparative experiments.The results showed that there were differences in fruit quality among the six peach varieties.The contents of soluble solids,total sugar,sodium and potassium were the highest in earth peach,the highest in total acid in nectarine and the highest in calcium in flat peach.The research results can provide accurate and quantitative basis for local consumers to buy peaches and help the development of peach industry.
