With the gradual improvement of people's pursuit of a healthy quality of life,ordinary beverages on the market can no longer meet people's needs for special nutrition,especially the demand for functional low-sugar beverages has increased dramatically.Low-sugar beverages can relatively reduce the body's sugar intake and help reduce the risk of obesity,related chronic diseases and diabetes.This paper reviews the categories of different functional beverages,their functional properties and their research status,and summarises the current status of research and development of low-sugar functional beverages and their problems.
