Taking big data as the breakthrough point,this paper explains the concept,principle and characteristics of big data,and summarizes the application scenarios and existing problems of big data technology in the economic development of food industry from the aspects of production and supply,market consumption and quality management.Combined with the development trend of food industry,this paper puts forward the path of using big data technology to promote the high-quality development of food industry economy from the aspects of food production,food market and quality management,and provides reference for promoting the sustainable development of food industry.
