In the modern food system,food additives are crucial,can effectively improve the shelf life of food,food taste,but excessive food additives will cause food safety problems,threatening the public health.Based on this,the importance of food additive content detection is self-evident.The purpose of this study is to explore the application of high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)in the detection of food additive content,and to reveal the important role of HPLC in ensuring food safety through detailed analysis of its basic principle,technical characteristics and detection applications.
