In order to study the application of high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(LC-MS)technology in the detection of pesticide residues,this paper describes the single instrument analysis method and tandem mass spectrometry,and summarizes the working principles and applications of multiple tandem mass spectrometry methods(such as triple quadrupole mass spectrometry,quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry,etc.).The process and results of LC-MS technique in the extraction,separation and quantitative analysis of pesticides were analyzed in detail,taking the detection of pesticide residues in food samples as an example.The results show that LC-MS technology has significant advantages such as high sensitivity,high throughput and low detection limits,which can effectively detect pesticide residues in complex substrates and provide reliable technical support for food safety detection.
