Food safety issues are of great concern to the society,among which veterinary drug residues in livestock and poultry products are particularly prominent.In this paper,on the basis of combing the definition of veterinary drug residues,hazards and detection methods,we focus on innovative strategies to improve the detection level of veterinary drug residues in food.Through a comprehensive approach,it is expected to comprehensively enhance the detection of veterinary drug residues in food in China,to curb the problem of veterinary drug residues from the source,to protect the safety of the masses at the table.
