In this study, the detection method of ammonia nitrogen in drinking water was studied based on ultraviolet spectrophotometry, using Nesser's reagent spectrophotometry with Shimazu UV-2600 as the instrument, and the experiments were carried out according to the method of GB 5750.5-2023"Standardized Test Methods for Drinking Water for Daily Use Part 5:Inorganic Non-metallic Indicators"on page 33.The precision verification showed that the relative standard deviation was reasonable, and the accuracy was verified by the standard substance and spiked recovery test. The results show that the method has high precision and accuracy, which can meet the requirements of drinking water testing and provide support for guaranteeing safety.
