Objective:To investigate the effect of Guangdong herbal tea on nitric oxide content in human blood and urine.Method:98 healthy adults were recruited and randomly divided into two groups to receive Guangdong herbal tea and placebo,respectively,and blood extraction,urine collection and routine physical examination were performed at week 0,week 1 and week 2.Result:After two weeks of administration of Guangdong herbal tea,there was no significant difference in serum biochemical parameters between groups.At the same time,it significantly increased the levels of total nitric oxide,nitrite,and nitrate in human serum and urine,as well as the content of nitrate in urine.Conclusion:Guangdong herbal tea has no negative effect on human health,and can significantly increase the concentration of total nitric oxide in human serum and urine.
