Reflections on the Theory and Practice of Foreign Language Education in China from the Perspective of National Cultural Security:A Case Study of Ideological and Political Culture Education in English
As a tool for international communication,foreign language is a unique means for competition among social sec-tors,and also an important underpinning of national security strategy.This paper,taking the ideological,political and cultural ed-ucation of English curriculum as an example,reviews the problems of foreign language education in our country under the back-ground of national cultural security in terms of theory and practice,and proposes the integration of national cultural security and ideological and political education of foreign language curriculum through value orientation.This paper presents the national cul-tural security concept of foreign language education in the new era in which the humanistic value needs of Chinese culture ontol-ogy are in line with the national development strategic goals,the cultivation of international vision in cross-cultural communica-tion is in line with the construction of national cultural security concept,and the ideological and political teaching of curriculum is coordinated with the inheritance of Chinese culture.This research highlights national cultural security consciousness in foreign lan-guage education with certain value and practical significance.
