The Analysis,Comparison and Interpretation of the Spanish Translations of Chuanqi Fictions of the Tang Dynasty
The Chuanqi Fictions of the Tang Dynasty,with their rich imagination and profound reference to social reality,have been favored by Spanish translators.The period from 1940s to 1970s was the early stage of Spanish translation of Chuanqi Fiction of the Tang Dynasty,translators and sinologists in Spanish-speaking countries took Chuanqi Fiction of the Tang Dynasty as the most important representatives of Chinese stories and translated some of the stories into Spanish.In 1980,the first special col-lection of Spanish translations of Chuanqi Fictions of the Tang Dynasty appeared.The translation was made by China and later in-troduced by Spain.However,there are significant differences in the treatment of details in these two translations,and a comparison between them provides a glimpse of the inherent similarities and differences between the two directions of translation.Around the 21st century,the number of Spanish translations of the Chuanqi Fictions of the Tang Dynasty began to increase,and an analysis of the selection and interpretation of the value in these translations of the Chuanqi Fictions of the Tang Dynasty can reveal the rea-sons for their translation.
